The investigators used a sizzling flash score to observe how much regularity and severity changed from when the study began to what the women reported at 8, 12 and 24 weeks. Acupuncture had the best effect on general hot flash scores in 8 weeks, when all interventions ended, accompanied by sham acupuncture and gabapentin after that. At 24 weeks, 16 weeks after remedies ended, acupuncture was linked to the greatest reduction in hot flashes still.This can be just one of the countless outcomes revealed by an extraordinary research project funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF that are actually published. Within this project, 42 male athletes took part both in a triathlon and an extensive biomedical research, which examined several physiological values parameters during the period from two days before to 19 times after the triathlon. The number of personal views on the benefits – or elsewhere – of exercise covers everything from ‘sport is good for you’ to ‘sport is usually a killer’. From a scientific perspective, there is no question that regular sporting activity offers physiological benefits, however, there is no such clear proof the benefits of extreme endurance sports activities.
